In the Midst…

So where did I leave off? Ahhhh that’s right “the going through”. That’s right! I left off with you going through it. Why am I going through this? I’m sure that’s a question you’ve asked. At the present time, I know it hurts. I know you’re angry. I know you find yourself depressed. I know you probably find yourself crying often.

I remember in the midst of my heartbreaks (yes I said heartbreaks), I felt the very same way that you’re probably feeling right now. I was angry, depressed, cried often, and I almost lost myself. I also complained the entire time I was in the midst. I pitied myself. I became bitter, but I did not allow myself to stay that way.

I remember crying out, “God why are you allowing this to happen to me?”. The only answer I received back was, “trust my plan”. I wanted to tell God, “I mean I trust but I still need to know what you got going bruh” (haha). I don’t want you to do what I did! Here’s something to remember while you’re in the midst:

  1. You are exactly where you’re suppose to be.

  2. You are not alone.

  3. You are not stupid nor foolish.

  4. God is with you always.

  5. He will never leave or forsake you.

  6. Take the necessary time to HEAL

Healing is significant when you’re in the midst. Discovering who you truly are and your purpose will require healing. What should you know about healing? I’m happy you asked! Healing isn’t pretty and it’s not going to be a cake walk. While you are healing, know that it’s okay to be confused. While you are healing, know that it’s okay to cry. While healing, know that it’s not meant to make you bitter, but to make you better.

Being “in the midst” is ugly, but it’s necessary! It’s necessary for who who you are. It’s necessary for where you are going. Your purpose is “in the midst”. So press on!

SHE came! SHE conquered! SHE WALKS!

With love,

Melissa
